    “Le Barcarès is een levendige kustplaats. Een vrij langgerekte plaats met een deel dat wordt aangeduid als Village, Port Barcarès, Lido en Grande Plage. Mooi, schoon zandstrand en door de golfbrekers niet al te hoge golven. Zeer helder zeewater en de zee wordt ook geleidelijk aan dieper, dus ideaal met kleine(re) kinderen. Er zijn winkeltjes en een supermarkt. Zelf gingen wij naar het naastgelegen Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque (6 km) met een grote Lidl, Intermarché, etc.”

    “Le Bacare ist ein typischer Ferienort. Dort wo das Ferienhaus lag - le village- ist eher ein beschauliches Viertel. Der Weg zum Meer entsprach den 800m, dort war der Strand relativ leer und sauber, (Hunde sind nicht erlaubt) und gut bewacht- (Rettungsstation Nr. 6 - sehr nette Crew).
    In Port Bacare oder Port Leucate wurden viele Veranstaltungen angeboten (Feuerwerk, Markt, Ahndwers-Buden, Ausflüge mit dem Segelboot,, Motorboot-Touren ins Umland etc.)-diese Orten sind allerdings viel touristischer und troubeliger.
    Das Pyrenäen-Umland bietet viel Sehenswertes und viel Abwechslung, so daß man von Le Bacares aus wirklich viel unternehmen kann.”

    “Bietet alles für einen abwechslungsreichen Urlaub, sehr gutes Gastronomieangebot mit sehr ansprechendem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, saubere, lange Sandstrände mit vielen und fast ausschließlich kostenlosen Parkplätzen. Lanschaftlich sehr interessant gelegen. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub, bei Gelegenheit sehr gerne wieder!”
