Il Palasso
Villa “Cima alla Serra” is a delightful house on 2 floors built by my great-great-grandfather in 1837 for hunting in the nearby forest. Today the villa is an exclusive place to stay with absolute privacy in the wonderful Tuscan countryside used by my family and by few guests.
The forest still belongs to our family and starts from the rear of the villa and arrives to the top of the mountain.
The building is restored respecting the original aspect of the house, using as much as possible materials and ancient furniture of the Tuscan tradition.
Water is collected from a source naturally coming out from the mountain and the house is surrounded by a lot of different kind of trees.
From the villa, placed out of the village and in high position, you can see a very spectacular panorama. The location is excellent to reach the most important art city of Italy (Firenze, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Siena) and the sea side (Versilia coast, Tirrenia).

- Ground floor: Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen , Bathroom with shower
- First Floor: Double Bedroom (2), Twin Bedrooms (1), Single bedroom (1)
Utilities: Microwave oven, Electric kitchen, Electric oven, Fridge, Freezer, Iron, Hair dryer, Electric water
boiler, Italian Coffeepot, Radio
Comfort: Small Library, Further Sofa-bed in lounge, Private parking for 2 cars, Barbeque, 2 stoned fire place,
Garden furniture, Beach Umbrella, Mosquito net.
Outdoors Large private green area around the house (3500 mq) and near green forest of pine trees available for walking and biking.
1) PRICE INCLUDES: Everything specified in each package, electricity, garden furniture, barbecue, parking for 2 cars; OTHERS: bed linen and towels are on request for 12 euros/person/change.
2) ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES: Arrival (check-in) every Saturday between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and departure (check-out) every Saturday before 10.00 a.m.
In case of early or late arrival/departure, the client is requested to inform the farmhouse. Please return the house key at the check-out.
3) The reservation is valid for those persons mentioned at the time of booking and the number of beds available in the apartment cannot be exceeded. Maximum number of persons accepted is 6.
4) Camping (camper or tent) is not allowed neither in the garden, neither in the forest around the house.
5) Water is collected directly from the mountain. Please avoid any waste.
Water is not purified and not drinkable but you can use it for cooking and, of course, for washing yourself.
6) On arrival the client will receive the apartment in good order and at the departure will be left as found on arrival. It is requested that the client will behave respectfully towards other guests. If the behavior of the client is not in line with good manners, the owner has the right to end the contract.
