However, the lively tourist centres of Pore and Rovinj, the beaches, the crystal clear Adriatic Sea and the sights are only a short drive away. A grocery shop is 1 km away. Central Istria is known for a landscape of small, picturesque, medieval towns that are irresistibly reminiscent of Tuscany or Provence. Central Istria also offers cultural heritage. Istria and its cycle paths are ideal for cycling. The road connections are excellent. The motorway takes you to Pula and Trieste airports (Ryanair, flyglobespan, thomson, Norwegian Air Shuttle, TUIfly, German Wings, Sterling, Wizzair and many Russian charter flights).
