Modern, bright apartment, quietly located on a slope and on the outskirts with a large garden and natural property. Located about 90 kilometers south of Stuttgart on the Southwest Alb, Meßstetten is one of the highest cities in Germany at up to 989 meters above sea level. There are numerous attractive sights in the immediate vicinity, including Hohenzollern Castle and Sigmaringer Castle. Hikes through one of the most beautiful landscapes in Germany are also recommended. The location on the Albtrauf with its steep rock formations is characteristic of the landscape. Numerous vantage points and elevations allow wonderful views of the foothills of the Alb and, when the weather is nice, a distant view of the Alps. Activities nearby: Visit the Heimberg nature reserve: Hikers and cyclists in particular will find a small paradise here on marked hiking and biking trails. Signposted Nordic walking routes in Tieringen invite you to exercise. Winter sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth with groomed cross-country ski trails, various downhill slopes and several ski jumps. Numerous tourist offers further enhance the unforgettable nature experience. From the deer park, the museum of folk art and the viewing platform on the water tower in the center of Meßstetten, to the reservoir with Kneipp facilities and a nature experience center with a sensory adventure park and forest adventure path in Oberdigisheim, to the barefoot path in Tieringen and local history museums In Tieringen and Hossingen, Meßstetten has a lot to offer.
