This small, cosy seaside resort is considered by many, especially families, as their summer retreat. Schönhagen has a sandy beach, approximately 1000 metres long and secured by lifeguards. It seamlessly connects to the beach of Kappeln in the north and to a steep coast in the south. On the beach, directly behind the small promenade, there are 60 comfortable cottages. In this wonderful oasis you will find that your holiday is almost too short to test all the possible modes of the multifunction sauna and to decide your favourites. You can try mild forms of bathing, such as tropical bath and aroma or warm air bath. You can also sweat it out in the steam room and then cool down under the waterfall shower. Finally wind up your eventful day in front of the fireplace, in the Scandinavian atmosphere of the house. You can also relax in the hot tub that can hold up to 5 people or sunbathe on the terrace or in the solarium.

Als wir das Haus betraten mussten wir mit Erschrecken feststellen, dass wir nicht die Ausstattung aus dem Internet hatten. Der Teppichboden war voller dunkler Flecken, die Fenster dreckig, das Geschirr im Geschirrspüler nicht annähernd sauber; Spinnweben im Bad, die von der Decke hingen. Uns wurde eine Reinigungsfirma versprochen, die meiner Meinung nach NIE da war. Die Betten waren keine Doppelbetten sondern nur zwei Liegen, die zusammen gestellt wurden.
