This independent, rustic holiday home in Vianden offers you a unique opportunity to stay in a comfortable holiday home within walking distance of the centre of Vianden. There are two parking spaces in front of the house, which is located next to the bike path. The bike path leads to the chalet and you will encounter only local traffic on the way. A staircase leads to the house and is not suitable for people with mobility issues. The spacious terrace with a barbecue leads to the front door. This house is a charming blend of the traditional and the modern, because there are stained glass windows and a satellite TV. The cosy living room has a fireplace and a dining table. The living room opens on to a small corridor with one step, which leads to the bedroom. The stairs from the living room leads to the first floor with two bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a shower. The small, separate bathroom has a bath and a sink. There is a second toilet on the first floor. The house features a large terrace which is partly covered. The central location and the unique atmosphere of the house make the guests want to come back here. Vianden is a well known city situated near the border with Germany. This attractive city is nestled amid very impressive natural surroundings and has many pavement cafes, shops and good tourist infrastructure. The river Our, which runs along the border with Germany passes through Vianden. Vianden owes its fame to the great fortress of the House of Orange-Nassau (beautifully restored and worth seeing), the Victor Hugo Museum and the interesting town hall. Vianden is rich in history, and yet also offers modern facilities. You can ride on a chair lift and enjoy the beautiful view from above. Several beautiful signposted hiking trails start from here. There is an adventure park with many climbing opportunities for children and adults. Vianden also has an open swimming pool. You can visit the pumped storage plant. From the summer of 2015, you can also enjoy a walk along the banks of the dam.

    “Ideaal voor gezin met kinderen. Door de steile helling voor sommigen moeilijker bereikbaar. Het huisje was ruim en had alles om je vakantie compleet te maken. De vaatwas en oven zijn gloednieuw. Alle keukenmateriaal was voldoende aanwezig, het enige wat we gemist hebben was een goeie koekenpan. Aanrader!”
