“Eine sehr schöne restaurierte, weltbekannte Altstadt z.B. mit dem Rechtsstädter Rathaus, der Marienkirche und dem Krantor, viele Restaurants auch an der Mottlawa, viele interessante Museen, viele Ausflugs- und Bademöglichkeiten an der Ostsee, Strände in Gdansk sind mit der Straßenbahn erreichbar, die lange Seebrücke, der Strand in Sopot, die Stadt Sopot, die Halbinsel HEL, die von Gdansk auch mit dem Schiff oder mit der Bahn (PKP) ereichbar ist, weiterhin gibt es Badeorte an der Bucht von Gdansk, z.B. Puck.
Das Kalingrader Oblast ist 150 km entfernt, CAVE: Hierzu ist ein Visum erforderlich!”

“Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt um die "Ecke". Man braucht nur über die Brücke gehen, dann über den Zebrastreifen, danach rechts halten und schon hat man einen kleinen aber feinen Tante Emma Laden. Der hat von 6.00 - 23.00 Uhr offen. Ein Discounter ist nur 10 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt es reichlich in der Altstadt und diese ist zu Fuß nur 10 min. entfernt.
Das Freizeitangebot ist auch gut. Man kann sich Fahrräder ausleihen, aber leider nur für Erwachsene. Boot fahren und Baden alles kein Problem. Die Preise sind echt super, teilweise billiger als in Österreich oder Deutschland. Man sollte immer im Kopf umrechnen was nicht schwierig ist, damit man am Ende nicht doch zu viel bezahlt. Die Möglichkeit essen zu gehen ist groß. Die Altstadt bietet jedem Gaumen etwas.”
