Holiday home for max. 7 persons
Saignon, Provence, (Côtes du Rhône), France
Presently this holiday rental is not on offer for booking. Instead look for alternatives in Saignon, in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur or in France.
Enjoy an unforgettable visit to Provence in this charming holiday home-away-from-home, combining rustic woodwork with modern amenities and commanding a scenic view of the beautiful countryside.
The house is both "natural" air-conditioned and centrally heated, and a washing machine and dryer are provided for your convenience. Wireless Internet is also available at no additional charge.
The house contains two kitchens, and between them you will have all the appliances and utensils needed to create your favourite dishes, from breakfast coffee to midnight snacks. And with eight seats available (including a highchair for the little ones), there is room for everyone to enjoy your culinary masterpieces.
Get a great night’s sleep in one of three beautifully-appointed bedrooms. One has a double bed and the second is fitted with two singles, while the third bedroom bosts a double bed, a mezzanine with a single bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and WC. The sofa converts into another double bed if needed while the shared bathroom boasts a deluxe dual shower head and a WC.
Spend a cosy evening in front of the indoor fireplace on the comfortable sofa, reading a book or viewing the flat-screen satellite TV, or watch the sun set over the mountains from the comfort of your furnished terrace.
End cleaning, linen and towels are all included in the rental price.
Public parking is available. Smoking is allowed, but outside only, and pets are not welcome.
Welcome to beautiful Provence and the lovely village of Saignon, a peaceful retreat in the midst of picturesque countryside, perfect for bird-watching, horseback riding, cycling, and rock-climbing. Its streets are too narrow for tourist buses, yet it still has several souvenir shops and quaint cafes, making it perfect for a quiet traveller on holiday.
Saignon’s attractions include a golf course just 4km away, the Golf Pitch 130, while within you will find the local supermarket at 2km and the closest bar/restaurant less than 1km from home. The village is small enough to be explored on foot, and you will find many intriguing architectural attractions, such as a 12th-century Roman church (the Notre Dame de Pitié), ancient fountains and many beautiful houses with intricate detailing.
Do take the time to ascend to the top of the rock of Saignon on a clear day - the panoramic view from here is fantastic!
